Tax Deductible Contributions

In addition to membership session dues, the team also depends on contributions for support. As a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, contributions to the team are tax deductible. The team welcomes any support that individuals or companies my want to contribute. Such support is acknowledged in letter form providing the Club's FEIN for tax reporting purposes. Consultation with a tax advisor is recommended for clarification of such deductibility. The Aspen Swim Club Tax-ID is 87-0706115.

Annual Fundraisers

The team hosts two fundraisers per year.

The Swim Your Aspen Off fundraiser is held in December and relies heavily on parent involvement to coordinate. This event occurs during one of the regularly scheduled practices, typically on a Wednesday. Swimmers solicit donations from friends and family as either per lap pledges or lump sum donations. This fundraiser raises a significant amount of funds which goes toward our operating budget to cover pool fees, wages, and other operating expenses. Information will be provided at the time of the event.

The Fastest Swimmer on The Roaring Fork event was founded in 2023. This is a community event/fundraiser race where we crown the fastest male and female swimmers in a sprint elimination race. This is a fast and fun night and we are excited to see this annual event grow.
